Apart from the fact the film marks the Bollywood debut of South sensation Priya Prakash Varrier, Boney Kapoor has sent a legal notice to the makers for using his late wife Sridevi’s name in the title. Now, it is being reported that he is going to ask for a restraining order against the film’s makers. The film’s trailer released recently and is being discussed online by fans. It shows a young actress played by Varrier, who seems to lead a happy yet lonely life. The end of the trailer shows her seemingly dead in a bathtub.
This has got fans talking because of the eerie similarities between the scene and the untimely death of Sridevi. It said that Boney is appalled by the trailer and upset that the makers have not removed Sridevi’s name from the film’s title. It is being suggested that Boney is planning on taking further strict legal action and ask for a restraining order against using Sridevi’s name. He wants them to use any other name in the title instead. ‘Sridevi Bungalow’ also stars Arbaaz Khan and Georgia Andriani.
