Last night, there was a major fire break out on the sets of Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan’s ‘Coolie No.1’. The team is currently working at the Filmistaan sets located at Goregaon in Mumbai. Fortunately, the fire was controlled in time and there were no casualties reported.
Talking about the incident in details a little that around 12:30 am, the film sets caught with major fire and only 15 workers were at site during the mishap. The fire brigade and the near by police was informed immediately as soon as they learnt about the fire chapter. However, the exact reason for the event is still not known and is assumed to be a short circuit connection and some damage done due to rains.
Coming back to the film, ‘Coolie No. 1’ remake stars actors Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan in the lead role while the original film featured Govinda and Karisma Kapoor. The film is helmed by Varun’s father and ace filmmaker David Dhawan, who also helmed the original. Producer Vashu Bhagnani is backing the film.
The film’s unit kick-started its first schedule in Bangkok last month and now shifted to Mumbai to complete the rest of the film.
