Kamal Haasan’s birthday celebrations have kicked off and not just fans but even the actor has left for his 3-day long celebration. Although he turns 65 today, fans started celebrating his big day on November 6. His brother Charu Haasan along with daughters Shruti and Akshara Haasan have also accompanied the actor. To commemorate his birthday, Kamal Haasan arrived at his hometown, Paramakudi.
It was revealed last week that a three-day-long celebration will be held to observe the actor’s 60 years in the industry as well as his 65th birthday. As per the schedule, the actor will be unveiling his late father, D Srinivasan’s statue in Paramakudi. D Srinivasan was a lawyer and a freedom fighter and to venerate him, the actor has erected a statue.
His daughter Akshara Haasan has been putting up pictures from their trip on her Instagram story. Right from their car journey to the airport to their arrival in Paramakudi, Akshara has put up all the pictures on her social media account.
Along with the family, Sivaji Ganesan’s son, actor Prabhu, is also part of the celebration. Prabhu and Kamal Haasan share a close bond and to honour the same, the young actor accompanied the family and witnessed the unveiling of the statue.
It has been reported that post unveiling the statue, Ulaganayakan will be returning back to Chennai along with his family. Bigger celebrations are set to take place on November 8 as a statue of legendary filmmaker K Balachander will be unveiled at his office in Eldams Roads in the city. A screening of Hey Ram will be taking place at the coveted Sathyam Cinemas which will be followed by a question and answer session.
