Starring Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Kirti Kulhari, Nithya Menen, Sharman Joshi, and HG Dattatreya in pivotal roles, Mission Mangal is all set to hit the theatres on tomorrow. Based on Space Research Organisation’s (ISRO’s) Mission Mars project, the film revolves around the female scientists who made the most cost-efficient rocket, in what seemed like an impossible mission.
While the star cast of the film was busy with the promotional events, looks like their efforts have borne fruits as fans are already excited for the movie. The special screening of the film which took place last night in Delhi is garnering a lot of positive reviews.
The screening was graced by the current Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy and looks like he was mighty impressed with the storyline and subject of the film. Taking to his social media handle, Reddy showered praises on the cast and crew of the movie and wrote, “What an interesting way to end a good day! Had an amazing time watching the preview of the movie #MissionMangalyaan along with the movie leads @AkshayKumar, @Sonakshisinha, and other cast & crew members. It’s a movie very well shot, to depict the glory of @isro and its success.”
Well, with reviews as positive as these, it looks like the film is all set to become a big Bollywood hit. Bankrolled by Cape of Good Films, Hope Productions, and Fox Star Studios, Mission Mangal is set to lock horns with John Abraham’s Batla House and Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.
